The personal injury calculatorThe "personal injury calculator" - what is it?

The personal injury calculator allows you to calculate various multipliers and losses according to guidelines set out in the Government Actuary's Department guidelines - "6th edition of the Ogden tables".

The input can be complex and requires a minimum of the subject details. Once entered, the personal injury calculator will calculate the Ogden multipliers for the subject based on the data entered.

By entering further data, it is then possible to calculate variable future losses or variable future earnings.

The results of these calculations and others can then be used to generate a schedule of loss for the subject. We hope to add a schedule of loss generator in the near future, pending feedback from clients.

We hope that this personal injury calculator makes it easier to perform the arduous and repetitive calculations required when drawing up a schedule of loss and reduces the possibility of human error.

What is it not : This calculator is not one of the many 'personal injury calculators' on the web which are actually run by claimant law firms and agents to show amounts that could be claimed for certain types of injury. This calculator is designed to be used by legal professionals creating Ogden calculations only.
